Valle Maira, the history.

In the forties the General of the Carabinieri, Antonino Denti di Forli, built the family home in the middle of the two agricultural buildings, to be used as a summer residence and administration of the property.
It was the beloved vacation place of the General’s children and nephews. Hospitality was a tradition from the beginning, with many cousins and friends hosted in the villa.
As time went by, the holidays became shorter and more diverse, so the villa was a bit forgotten. But at the beginning of this century, the villa was completely renovated : the walls, the roofs, the bathrooms and the heating system were all redone, but maintaining the original flair of the house. The original colours were respected, the decorations and the relics were restored.
The two agricultural building were also renovated : new bedrooms and small apartments were created. In a corner immersed in nature the swimming pool was built. A small restaurant for the guests of the agriturismo was also created.
